Our products

Satori S.A. specializes in the sale of fresh produce with high value-added potential, namely climacteric exotic fruits such as avocado, mango, mini banana and papaya. Satori S.A.’s long-standing, trust-based relationships with its various suppliers encourage constant improvement in terms of product quality, logistics and schedule management. Since its creation, Satori S.A. has been a pioneer in the ripening of exotic fruits. The introduction of ripe fruit on the fresh produce market has contributed to the growing consumption of exotic fruit in Switzerland.

Satori S.A. offers mangoes from the Kent and Keitt, Noa and Shelly varieties.

The main countries supplying these varieties are Peru, Senegal, Brazil, Côte d'Ivoire, Israel, Spain, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

Senegal
Senegal is a major producer of mangoes from July to August, mainly of the Kent variety. Shipping to Europe takes just 6 days.
Brazil
Brazil is the largest mango producer in South America. Its cultivation extends over 70,000 hectares and around 90% is consumed by the domestic market, while 65,000 tons are exported to Europe. The Brazilian Kent variety is available in November, December and early January, while the Keitt is available from February to May and from September to December.
Ivory Coast
With annual production of 100,000 tonnes from 20,000 hectares, Côte d'Ivoire is Africa's leading mango producer. It exports around 10% of this production. Cultivation is traditional, and most of it comes from small farms. Côte d'Ivoire mangoes, dominated by the Kent variety, are on the market from late April to mid-June.

Satori S.A. offers Hass avocados all year round.

They come mainly from Peru, Chile and Spain. Tropical avocados are also available, from Brazil and the Dominican Republic.

Bananitos (Baby-Bananas, Frecinette) from Ecuador are an excellent example of synergy between producer and importer. Satori S.A.

In the 90s, cooperation began with deliveries of 30 to 50 parcels a week. Today, Satori S.A. imports several sea containers (> 10,000 parcels) per week. Satori S.A. has supported the producers of the UNION CARCHENSE cooperative over the years, technically managing the switch to sea transport and motivating the cooperative to obtain FAIR TRADE (FLO) certification.

From its beginnings with 5 families, this project now provides over 200 families in the Santo Domingo region with a secure income. Thanks to donations from the WISHA Foundation and Fair Trade premiums, members of the cooperative, including their families, benefit from free medical care.
